Headphones are just about one of the coolest inventions around. Since walkmans and diskmans to iPods and iPhones, headphones have allowed good quality listening a certain character of portability. They are still the least expensive way to listen to music – one might pay 6 times more for speakers and they aren’t as mobile of course. If you don’t settle for cheap headphones and actually get your hands on some decent makes, you’ll be amazed as to how much detail and comfort there is in a listening session. (more…)

In the recent past there have been a number of amazing innovations in the world of 3D entertainment, from movie theatre technology to what we see at home, to highly developed games. As time goes by and the technology becomes more and more affordable, it seems likely that viewing images with 3D glasses could become a part of day-to-day life for many. The Nintendo DSi has been updated and upscaled. The new Nintendo DSi XL is now available, and with a bigger screen, it makes the gaming experience more exciting and interactive. The screen is 4.6 inches, compared to its predecessor’s 3.25-inch screen, and is displayed in a wide angle, making it easier for those around to catch in on the action. Although the hardware and resolutions are the same as the DSi Lite, gaming will be more pleasant and less eye-straining. (more…)

It’s no secret we think little of 3D glasses. Not only does the exclusion of these expensive glasses misrepresent the real price of getting a 3D experience from 3D TVs, they look dorky and ruin much of the social act of watching TV. The CeBIT conference confirmed that those who make the tech are trying to do away with 3D glasses, too. (more…)
