Onkyo DV-BD507: Expensive Blu-ray Player is arguably still worth it

Blu-ray players have become the new trend in the society as the people always prefer to be fashionable and buy products that are the latest in fashion. The Japanese firm Onkyo also launched the Onkyo DV-BD507 Blu-ray disc player in the market.

The Onkyo DV-BD507 player can playback BD, BD-Rom, BD-R, BD-RE, DVD Video, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL, Audio-CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs. The player plays file formats of AVCHD, MP3, JPEG, DivX and DivX HD. The player upscales the disc sources up to 1080p output for Full HD movies with cinema mode of 24 frames per second. Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio 2 Decoding technologies are used in the Onkyo DV-BD507 players to enhance the sound quality and produce surround sound effect. The player has frequency response of 150 MHz for video DAC and 192 kHz for audio DAC. The player also includes BD-Live functionality which allows the player to view movies and video on the internet through Ethernet port. The player also includes SD and SDHC memory card slot for media content. The player includes features like rapid video playback with audio, preset video adjustments, display dimmer, etc. when the player is in use it consumes a power of 25 watts. The Onkyo DV-BD507 has dimensions of 545 x 164 x 423 mm and weighs 4.8 kg / more….
