Onkyo DV-BD606: First Blu-ray Player from the Japanese Company Onkyo

The DV-BD606 is the first Blu ray player by the Japanese electronics manufacturer, Onkyo. The unit weighs around 4.1 kg and is sized 435 mm in width, 82.3 mm in height and 359mm in depth. The blu ray player consumes 30 watts when in use and 0.8 watts when on standby. The Onkyo Blu-ray player DV-BD606 is a High definition ready set with a 1080 pixel video resolution. This model can playback blu ray discs with full HD 1080p resolution for video of any forms of discs. It can play CDs in DivX, MP3 and as well JPEG formats. The blu ray player can take any blu ray disc and perform with full brilliance and finery of HD resolution at a speed of “24 frames per second”.

The audio of the DV-BD606 is a Dolby true High definition as well as DTS-high definition “master audio codecs” which deliver an audio and sound mix of the “original studio mix” with your AV receiver. The Onkyo DV-BD606 Blu-ray player, the company’s first, supports 1080p upscaling for all the standard definition DVD discs as well. The blu ray player can also play all your favourite music files in audio CD or MP3 formats.
