Hi fi or High fidelity reproduction refers to the home stereo equipment capable of reproducing high-quality sound and image. Ideally, only those audio equipment that met the accurate frequency response as set by the German Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) standard, DIN 45500 in 1973, could bear the words ‘hi-fi’. But nowadays, some of the manufactures have begun to misapply the term to even those audio products that were far off the DIN basis specifications. However, there are still some brands that continue to manufacture authentic hi fi systems and one of the names included in these brands is Denon. The LG Group is South Korea’s third largest corporation that produces telecommunications, chemicals and electronics products and operates subsidiaries like LG Telecom, LG Electronics and LG Chem in over 80 countries. The LG Group associates its tagline “Life’s Good”, with the letters LG. To ensure that it can make everyone’s life good LG keeps exploring different technologies, case in point is its approach to the field of Hi-Fi. High fidelity or hi-fi reproduction is a term used by home audio devotes and home stereo listeners, to refer to high-quality reproduction of sound and images. High-fidelity equipment has minimal amounts of noise distortion and provides an accurate frequency response. It is rightfully said that with changing time everything changes, so is the case with music and music systems. With the onset of modernization people’s view towards music system have changed drastically. Earlier Radios and Tapes were used as a medium for listening to music, but with the introduction of CDs and DVDs, people shifted the owning of a music system from a luxury item to a basic necessity. People don’t want to listen to the irritating and fluctuating sounds of the old Radio or keep changing the cassette of the Tape anymore. Keeping these things in mind, Japanese manufacturer Sony introduced the all-new NAS-E300HD GIGA JUKE as streaming home audio equipment.

Sharp Electronics has recently introduced two new mini hi-fi models to its range, the powerful CD-SW340H and the stylish CD-MPX880H. The former model comes equipped with a massive 520W RMS output and also has a 5 CD changer and blue flashing lights that seamlessly blend with beat of the impressive bass. The last time Onkyo came up with a HI-Fi product was the CR-505DAB, which was not well received by the critics. However, despite the heavy criticism, the Onkyo CR 505 managed to do great business all over, particularly in Japan. The surprising outcome has highlighted the point that it has done something right that critics failed to take note of.
