A model that has been getting a lot of attention in recent times is none other than the Alba DVD114 DVD Player, has proven to be quite a performer judging by its public reception. The attention is not very difficult to comprehend, since as soon as you switch the player on it roars to life and delivers a brilliant performance. The images produced, in particular, are something to die for as they are delightfully bright and clear. Featuring some of the most advanced technologies and innovations; it also looks aesthetically beautiful in a silver colour.
You will have few difficulties to handle with this player as it supports playback of CD, CD-R and DVD. DVD+RW, DVD-RW and DVD+R formats are supported as well making it a double treat.
Importantly, the video format of the player is PAL and NTSC making it real cool. Despite having the ability to play only one disc at a time you will be tempted to overlook it once you discover the clarity and perfection it displays while playing the discs.
The image quality is taken well care of by the LCD screen of size 2 that adorns it. The audio part of the unit is also no pushover and features the sophisticated digital Dolby sound system that optimises the sound quality to such an extent that you feel besotted by it. Pleasantly enough, the player also supports onscreen display apart from having a subtitle feature. The latter feature is quite significant as now you can get information about the track that is being played, artist, and other related details.
In case you are still not impressed, the model has some of the most intuitive speed and slow motion features that you might have come across. Of cours, it is unfortunately not portable like its cousin the Alba DVDP722. However, the unit does contain a zoom feature as well, so you can also take advantage of the replay function. Another one of the unit’s downsides is how it doesn’t support MP3 recording.
