Acer P1266P: Intuitive, Modern and High Quality DLP Projector

Home cinema and presentations of classroom and office requires projectors that help in projecting the corresponding image of the computer on a projection screen via lens system. Taiwanese manufacturer Acer launched their new projector, the Acer P1266P in the electronics market to compete with the other brands of the same category. The Acer P1266P projector has a native resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 pixels and maximum resolution of WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 pixels. The native aspect ratio of the Acer projector is 4:3 along with a contrast ratio of 2700:1. The quality of a projector could be tested by the amount of colours it displays on the screen. The Acer P1266P can display about 134 million colours which allow the user to view pictures and videos in the finest quality.

With dimensions of 269 x 206 x 96 mm and weighing just 2.5 kg, the Acer projector is lighter and smaller compared to other similar products. The Acer P1266P projector also includes a 6 segment colour wheel with 3x rotation speed. The projection lens included in the Acer P1266P ranges from 2.41 to 2.66 and 18.17mm to 21.81mm. The Acer P1266P has 2x digital zoom and 1.2:1 optical zoom. The Acer projector has a projection distance of 1.0m to 9.8m and has a throw ratio of 1.60 to 1.92:1. The Acer P1266P projector also has 90% of brightness uniformity. The projector has 5 inputs and 2 outputs with 1 x 2 watts mono speakers included. It has a power consumption of 280 w in normal and 5 watts in standby mode. The Acer P1266P has a 180 watt P-VIP type of lamp with lamp life of 3000 hours for normal and 4000 hours for eco mode. The accessories included with the Acer P1266P are power cord, VGA cable, composite cable, remote control, batteries, lens cap, carrying case, user guide, quick start guide, security card and 2 years warranty.
