The Panasonic PT-AE4000 is the successor of the award winning HD ready projector, the Panasonic PT-AE4000. It a perfect piece of projector for home theatre enthusiasts as it features a 2.35:1 wide aspect screen which eliminates the Cinemascope issue and brings the exact picture quality intended by film and TV directors to the cinema fans. The Panasonic PT-AE4000 comes with the new and unique Lens Memory 2 which can memorize up to six different zoom/focus positions and the new signal aspect detection capability of the projectors also allows automatic switching between 16:9 and 2.35:1 contents.

The HD ready also has the new Red-Rich lamp incorporated in it which increases the luminance efficiency of the projector and can achieve up to 150% brighter Cinema Picture modes than its predecessor. Before Red-Rich lamps, due to the lack of red luminance, much brightness was lost to attain the desired colour purity/balance in Cinema Picture modes. But the newly developed lamp adds the desired red luminance and allows the projectors to deliver the amazingly bright images with rich colours.

With a brightness of 1,600 ANSI lumens, the projectors can very well unleash the beauty of full-HD expression for viewing on screens of different sizes. Another interesting feature included in the Panasonic PT-AE4000 uses a new optical system that delivers 1080p images with amazing clarity, brightness and contrast. The Pure Contrast Plate of the brand new projector uses a crystalline material that effectively corrects the passage of light exiting panels. This enables the projectors to block unwanted leakage of light and increase the dynamic range successfully. Some other highlights Advanced Gamma Adjustment, Waveform Monitor and a lot more.
