JVC DLA-HD350 D-ILA Projector for Home Cinema Enthusiasts

Home cinema enthusiasts are always looking forward to something that can surprise them and enhance their viewing experience. The new DLA-DH350 projector from JVC does exactly this. JVC had launched HD 350 as an entry level projector with a lot of improvements over their earlier models and upgraded D-ILA Wire Grid projection technology.

If you have seen their earlier models then you can see that they have made this one sleeker and it weighs only 11kg. To protect the lens from dust particles, it has been covered with an electronic cover that follows the power (off/on).

But the true test of any projector is the picture quality, the main job it’s designed to do. JVC rarely, if ever, disappoints on that front and that’s true for this projector too. It offers three 0.7” Full HD D-ILA devices and a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It uses 200w ultra high-pressure mercury lamp and claims a native contrast ratio of 30,000:1, which is over twice the contrast ratio used in the older JVC DLA-HD1 projector. The DLA-HD350 projector also boasts of high-performance 2x lens that is equipped with motorised focus. Another feature that stands out is V-stretch mode that ensures there are no black bars on top and bottom of images that otherwise ruin the whole view. To make it a whole package, the distorted images can be adjusted using the Digital Keystone feature.

Beyond the shear facts, the JVC DLA-HD350 projector does offer a great viewing experience. The colours, brightness, etc everything is better and there is far more consistency in the colours tones which results in less strain on your eyes.

The back panel of projector consists of different input terminals. There are two HDMI terminals which are based on ver. 1.3, conforming to the very latest in technology.

On a whole this offering from JVC’s stable satisfies the demands of any one looking for a good and basic home projector. And by the way, if you are worried about the price, no worries on that front too.
