The Bose Soundlink is another large wireless speaker, but it’s perfect for playing iTunes and listening to the radio over the Internet. It works via the Soundlink USB key which you plug into your computer and from there you can choose the songs you want to listen to. It’s easy to set up and doesn’t need any software installments. It comes with a remote control as well as a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, so you can take it with you anywhere and not have to worry about bringing a spare battery. The Bose Soundlink produces powerful sound, and be placed anywhere in your home. This wireless speaker is rather expensive at £499.99.

This wireless speaker from Veho is small, compact and portable. It comes with a USB dongle which allows you to continue updating the music playlist. It’s ideal for a notebook, PC and Mimi console, and has an input for MP3. The Veho 002W can impressively produce sound up to 50 meters away, giving you more versatility where you want to place it. It’s perfect for parties because it has play time of up to 12 hours, and the bass enhancement option will provide powerful, booming sounds. The 002W is compatible with both Windows and Mac, and comes with 2×2W speaker outputs. The Veho 002W is priced at a reasonable £44.98.
