Digital Light Processing or DLP is Texas Instrument technology that is used in projectors and video projectors. This technology was developed by Dr. Larry Hombeck of the Texas Instrument in the year 1987. The DLP technology is one of the leading technologies which are used in digital cinema projections. The DLP, LCoS and LCD are the display technologies used behind rear projection TV. The presence of these technologies makes them to compete with the plasma and LCD TV. A prolific projector by Acer, the S1200 is certainly a force to reckon with. The device has been fabricated in such a way that it is versatile and convenient. 2500 ANSI lumens are the backing that the S1200 has in the visual department.
