Sony Electronics is one of those brands that doesn’t need a second mention, and is recognized all over the world for the exclusive range of products it deals with. It is therefore pretty normal to have high expectations from each and every product that comes out of its ranks. And people do have high expectations from the Sony Bravia KDL-37V4000 37in LCD TV. While this Sony TV does come at a ridiculously low price, this unfortunately also entails a drop and quality, as the model does not quite live up to the company’s high standards. (more…)

Sony has announced to release 3 new Bravia XBR LCD HD-TVs. The 2008 XBR 6, 7 and 8 series models are all equipped with a 10-bit-panel and 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) full-HD resolution. Additionally, the flatpanel LCDs feature Triluminos three-colour LED backlight for enhanced colour range and ACE PRO, Sony’s algorithm for local dimming. Sony also further developed its Bravia Engine for high quality video processing and releases the Bravia Engine 2 PRO with improved picture sharpness as one highlight of the XBR series. (more…)
