LG 42LG5000: Not Lacking in Aesthetics or Performance

If it’s a variety of options in LCD televisions that an individual is looking for, then LG Electronics is one brand that will not disappoint. LG outdo itself last year by launching a whopping 24 models under the range of LCD televisions. The model LG Electronics 42LG5000 also belongs to this 5000 series which was one of the ranges launched last year.

LG is one brand which can never be accused of lacking in design aesthetics as far as its gadgets are concerned. LG Electronics 42LG5000 upholds the same reputation. The LG LCD TV is simply gorgeous to look at with its high gloss finish in colour black. The TV monitor features a swivel stand and gentle curves which enhance its aesthetic appeal.

The invisible speaker system incorporated in the set are placed such that they are not visible at all, thus adding to the sleek appearance of the set. However, the sound quality hasn’t been compromised on either. The LG 42LG5000 LCD set has 3 HDMI inputs to ensure smooth connectivity with the external attachments. Two of the ports are located on the rear while one is situated in the front of the screen.

The screen resolution offered by its 42” screen is 1920 x 1080 pixels. However, avid fans of LCD technology are going to have one grudge with this model i.e. it lacks the LG’s staple TruMotion 100Hz mode which is made available in other similar models being launched by LG. However, the Intelligent Sensor feature compensates for the former by allowing automatically modifying and adjusting the picture, thus preventing power consumption and protecting eyes against eye strains.

just bought a 47lh5000 and it is awful. previously had a 42 philips and that wiped the floor with this.
the picture quality is poor and hd channels are grainy. dont even get me started on the 200hz as everything is blurry when moving.
    avoid this like the plague.
