LG 42LF7700: LCD Flat Screen with all the latest Features

Author: martin  //  Category: Television

The brands that dominate the LCD Flat screen Television of today’s world are Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba and Samsung. LG Electronics, the first brand to launch TV’s with built-in Freeview recorders in the UK, has a tradition of making more effort in catering specific quirks of the UK’s TV marketplace.

The LG 42LF7700 is the first of LG’s hi-definition Freesat screens made of glossy black design, with a smoked-plastic lower bezel that helps direct sound from the invisible woofers. Unlabelled touch-sensitive input, menu, OK, volume and programme buttons are hidden on the right side. The new LG 42LF7700 set provides impressive image quality and admirable ease of use at a competitive price. Located on the back panel are two HDMI interfaces, two SCART connectors, component video input and digital audio output. Interestingly, one of the HDMI interfaces is designed to accept an input from a computer with a DVI interface. On the left-hand edge of the screen, there’s another set of connectors including a third HDMI interface, composite video with stereo input, headphone output, a CI slot for pay-TV top-up cards and a USB port that supports playing music or photo slideshows stored on a memory stick.
