The Sony KDL-40W5500 (KDL46W5500U) is the latest TV introduced by electronics giant Sony in the market. The Sony KDL-40W5500 is a 40 inch LCD TV with dimensions of 987 x 638 x 93 mm. The Sony KDL-40W5500 TV displays 1080p format with a picture resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Sony KDL-40W5500 has image aspect ratio of 16:9. The dynamic contrast ratio of Sony KDL-40W5500 is 100,000:1 and provides the user with a 178 degrees viewing angle. The Sony TV includes both DVB-C and DVB-T type of digital tuners. The Sony KDL-40W5500 (KDL46W5500U) is 24p-capable and includes the 100Hz mode with 8 bit of colour depth.
