Samsung LED TV Series 9: Up-close Look at the Company’s Flagship Models

Samsung Electronics is the world’s largest electronics manufacturing company and one of its highest selling product lineups is the Samsung LED TV series. In these TVs, special light emitting diodes are used for backlighting instead of the traditional fluorescent lights. Owing to this feature, LED TVs are able to produce more dynamic images than the traditional LCD TVs. LED TVs also save a lot of power due to its low consumption rate and produce less environmental pollution as well. The Samsung UE46B8000 is a 46 inch LED TV and has an aspect ratio of 16:9. It is an HDTV compatible model and comes with a wide, full HD display screen. The ports provided in the Samsung Series 9 TV can connect the TV to AV input, Digital Audio Output (optical), Ethernet, HDMI x4, PC Audio, RS-232C, SCART, VGA, USB 2.0, YUV, Component Video Input (YUV) and RS-232. The in use power consumption of the TV is 130 watt while in the standby mode it consumes just 0.1 watt of power.

Another model in the Samsung LED TV series is the Samsung UE40B8000 which has a 40 inch full HD screen and the digital tuners compatible with it include DVB-T, DVB-T (HD), DVB-C and DVB-C (HD). Some other attractive features in this Samsung LED TV model includes HDMI-CEC, Auto Standby, Auto Channel Search, Auto Volume Control, Picture in Picture, Pivotable Foot, Eco Mode, Sleep Timer, Timer, Clock, Videotext and Multi Language OSD.
