Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ85 42in Plasma TV: Keeping some of the interesting Options open, unlike its Predecessors
Author: martin // Category: TelevisionThe electronics manufacturer Panasonic has once again come up with one of its very popular Full HD 42in plasma TVs, the TH-42PZ85. The model is a tucked between the company’s popular 42in Full HD plasma TVs, the Panasonic TH-42PZ80 and Panasonic TH-42PZ800.
The plasma TV is intuitively equipped with the Intelligent Frame Creation system that adds that additional frames of image data so that the moving images look more vibrant and smooth. Unlike the 42PZ800, the TH-42PZ85 there is however no Digital Cinema Colour processing system and consequently you will not be able to enjoy those expansive colour palettes, which was the case in the former.
Connection wise the 42PZ85 boasts of three HDMIs, which was exactly the case with the 42PZ80, rather than the four of the 42PZ800. You also get to have an SD card slot, but it is provided with the discretion only to play back JPEG pictures. The audio component of the device is also a bit moderate and comes with two one-dimensional speakers, rather than something like the ‘Advanced Smart Sound’ speakers employed by the 42PZ800. This means that you cannot warranty that high fidelity sound and clarity unlike its more expensive counterpart. You will also not get to enjoy the thrills of power handling as well.
The unit’s Full HD resolution is really an adorable part of the package and helps in creating the ideal colour composition, so that the Panasonic TH-42PZ85B’s screen renders even the subtlest of colour shifts and blends them with a great deal of deftness. It also means that the images are impressively presented in three-dimensional pattern that are delicately solid as well.
