Giant Panasonic TH-65VX100E 65in Plasma Screen excels in every Manner

Ever since Panasonic’s TH-65VX100E was launched and its price (after bring shipped into) in England was declared, what initially caught everyone’s attention was only its exorbitant price. Who is going to buy it at ?8000? And what is it with this product that makes the Panasonic Corporation think it can sell it at such a high price?

How does it look? Well, the black rectangular body made with robust aluminium is not bad to look at. So, let’s say, not a bad start.

As for what extra it offers to what existing models are already providing? Hmm.. new Dynamic Black Layer is definitely one of them. It is supposed to reduce the pre-discharge and as per company sources by one sixth. That is a good thing considering it can ensure very high contrast ratio and it gives this model an advantage over older, less advanced ones like the Panasonic TH-50PZ80B plasma. To make it even better, Panasonic is using new phosphorus material process technology and better digital signal technology. This Panasonic plasma television also comes with Panasonic’s Professional screen division and the end result as expected must offer a far better viewing experience.

Good news, the actual experience of watching a movie on it was breath taking. The scenes that on a normal screen looked rather boring really came out on this screen. The colours really looked as they were meant to be. As a matter of fact a cinematographer would feel the happiest to see his work shown really as he would have intended it to be.

Overall it is a great product for an excellent viewing experience but if price is to be taken into account, well, the jury on that is still out.
