The Sony KDL-32S3000 is a 31 inch HDTV flat panel LCD TV and a classy piece from the Bravia television range. Though it might not be the best of the Bravia TVs, it does keep up to Sony’s quality and performance. The Sony LCD TV is not a regular HD full resolution of 1920X1080 but is a 720p HD resolution set. The looks of this Sony model may seem conservative while it also does not bare the 100 Hz refresh rates. However, the LCD TV does have “Sony’s Live colour creation technology”, which basically allows a greater reproduction of images.
Sony KDL-32S3000 LCD TV has retained its picture processing quality similar to the ‘V’ and ‘W’ series of TVs, the signature feature for wider reproduction of colour. The Sony integrated solution LIVE COLOUR CREATION is present in this LCD. The connectivity in this model comprises of 3 HDMI inputs, a component s-video input along with scart and regular inputs. The display is better than average performance dealing with the black levels in performance but does have an excellent management of standard definition sources. The picture quality is sharp and impressive, though obviously not as good as higher end models like the Sony KDL-40Z4500. Moreover, the Sony KDL-32S3000 has been built with the WCG-CCFL backlight technology which will result in a 95% of the NTSC signal gamut for video. This is a huge improvement of around 140% in the features of fluorescent backlights in earlier LCD TVs. In this model which is the Sony KDL-32S3000 LCD TV a different kind of material is used to achieve deeper and accurate shades of greens and red.
The little model from the Japanese company Sony is true example of big things come in small sizes. The LCD TV is packed with excellent features and is very reasonable for a new product of HDTVs.
