Panasonic TX-P42X10B: Plasma TV with superior Networking Capabilities

The 42 inch Plasma TV from Panasonic has a 1024×768p resolution and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 with a 100 Hz double scan mode. The TX-P42X10B plasma TV belongs to the Panasonic Viera series of TV sets. This set of Panasonic is a High resolution ready TV set and it comes with a digital tuner and the feature of smart networking Viera Link. Viera Link is a feature that caters to allowing interconnected operations of several AV devices with the help of the Viera remote control. The various devices from the Japanese company Panasonic are easily connected with an HDMI cable. Moreover, this viera link has also been enhanced with another feature where you can connect your Lumix digital camera and use the Viera remote to play the stored images and data on your camera. The Lumix camera is however required to have an HDMI output to connect to the TV.

The Panasonic TX-P42X10B plasma TV consumes power of 245 watts when in use and 0.7 watts when on standby. Audio in this model has a V-Audio surround sound that delivers a deep rich “sound image effect” which will bring the screen alive. The V-Audio surround system detects the actual size of the room and then delivers. This detection happens through the ‘digital signal processor”. The connectivity of the Panasonic TX-P42X10 involves a “SD memory card slot” that will allow you to view your stored photos. This SD slot is in the Viera link which also has the feature of playing 3 different kinds of background music and 4 different display effects while viewing your photos. The overall look of the Panasonic TX-P42X10B has an improved black panel appearance with a new “real black drive system” which is a control panel while the TV has been fit on a stand making an impressive model.
