Sony has introduced us to its new innovation, the KDL-40ZX1 LCD Television, which is now officially regarded as one of the slimmest commercially available televisions around. Having a thickness f about 9.9mm, it weighs approximately 12.2kg. However just because of the fact that it would ‘blow away in a gnat’s fart’ it does not mean that this piece of technology isn’t equipped with the remaining goods. In reality, this 40 inches beauty rocks the 1080p resolutions and comprises the Sony’s Bravia Engine 2 and the 120Hz Motion Flow tech.

The Sony KDL 40ZX1 LCD Television has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, a viewing angle of 178 degree and a lonely, single HDMI port. Sony has hoarded something very special for this model of it LC TV collection. It is that it has the latest ‘wireless HD base station’ which streams 1080i video out of its own collection of component, S Video, VGA and 3 x HDMI ports. The Sony KDL-40ZX1 includes the convenience of the USB Port and the LAN connection, eradicating the requirement of all those cumbersome, messy and ugly looking cables that would be needed otherwise. Conversely, even a wired version of the same is available for those individuals who prefer to unlock the screen’s full 1080p potential.
