Panasonic TX-P42U10B 42 inch HDTV proves that Plasmas are still Alive and Well

Panasonic TX-P42U10B is a 42 inch HD-ready plasma TV with an integrated Free view digital tuner and 400Hz technology. Capable of producing smooth pictures and reducing motion judder on fast moving scenes like sports and movies, the plasma TV is an asset for every home. Besides being HD ready, it has 1080 pixels. A contrast ratio of 200000:1, the television has a digital tuner with all free view channels. Equipped with 400Hz technology, the television is a flat panel TV with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It displays broadcast in formats 1080p (HDTV), 1080i (HDTV), 720p (HDTV), 480p (EDTV) and 480i (SDTV) and supports broadcast format 1080p (HDTV). With a native aspect ratio of 16:9, it has a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9. With dimensions 66cm height, 103cm width and 10.5cm depth, the plasma television from the Panasonic Corporation has a viewing angle of 180 degrees.

Though it does not have a built-in freesat HD tuner, it has a digital tuner with all free view channels and a 7 watt electronic programme guide. Using 24p technology, the television does not have a light sensor and no LED technology. An interesting feature is that Panasonic TX-P42U10B can be used a PC monitor. Its sound system is V-audio while it has 2 Scart sockets. It also has 2 RGB-enabled Scart sockets and allows a S-Video connection and component video connection. The Panasonic TX-P42U10B (TX-P42U10B) plasma television has AV inputs and 2 HDMI connections. Equipped with a headphone socket, the television also has SD card reader and optical connection. However, it does not have PCMCIA slot for pay channel module and no DLNA technology. Also, other features like a built-in iPod dock or a built-in DVD Player are not there. Equipped with a 400Hz processor, the plasma television comes with an included desktop TV stand.

    I BROUGHT ONE FROM COMET,AND HAVE JUST BEEN TOLD BY LOCAL PANASONIC DEALER THAT IT IS A HYBRID,AND HAS LG INTERNALS.AND THAT SONY DO THE SAME THING.
    IS THIS TRUE?

    Yes many companies, like Sony or Panasonic, have arrangements where they use panels from LG or Samsung in their televisions.
