Logitech Squeezebox links up with Napster online Music

Logitech announced that its Squeezebox network will now be supported by the music service Napster. Napster is an award-winning online music subscription provider and its amalgamation with Logitech will give Squeezebox users access to seven million songs through their existing wireless network and the Squeezebox systems.

The Logitech Streaming Media group vice president, Robin Selden expressed the delight of including Napster into the Logitech family for the Squeezebox online music line. He also stated how this link with the wireless Squeezebox device can facilitate Napster music away from ones computer. Be it hip hop, reggae, rock or classic, Squeezebox and Napster together can get any collection of music into any part of your house.

Napster makes online music available on-request; all you need is a Logitech Squeezebox network system and you can choose your favourites from oldies to the latest music releases from the Napster’s music play lists.

As described by its President Brad Duea, Napster is a pioneer in digital music, offering the best and most enjoyable experiences and continuously inventing improved ways to share and acquire music. He also expressed that the bond between Logitech Squeezebox Classic and Napster is an instinctive, owing to the ever-growing popularity of online music. Napster offers a free of charge 30 days trial time to Logitech Squeezebox holders in the US, UK, Canada and Germany. Thereafter, you can subscribe to the Napster service at US$12.95 monthly charge.
